Amber colour Erlenmeyer conical flasks with approximate graduations, also known as amber conical flasks, are laboratory flasks for handling, mixing and storing light-sensitive chemicals and solutions. The amber borosilicate glass reduces light transmission, helping protect photo-sensitive samples during mixing, heating and storage. The conical shape allows safe swirling with minimal spillage, while the approximate graduations give a quick volume estimate. Borosilicate glass offers excellent chemical and thermal resistance for repeated laboratory use.
